It's a Ripe Time - God Moving People Out

This weekend will be the last time Rod, Maria, and their children attend CBC as Rod has taken a pastoral position at a church in Roseville. The COV & CORE groups had a surprise going-away party for them on Friday - what a bitter-sweet event that was. They were surprise to see the CORE group as they were expecting a regular COV meeting.

Many showed up to express their gratitude, heart-felt prayers and memories. People sent me pictures throughout the week to include in a slide show I prepared. It was sad and realized how many years we've served along side Rod and Maria. It's amazing what God has done in their lives and ministry, and we're excited to see what God will do thru them in Roseville.

Mike and I have had frequent conversations in that in several years to come, we will be receiving emails from close, dear friends who have been sent by God around the world. What a wonderful sight to see. Yes it's sad but we're reminded that we're not here on earth for our own agenda but rather to advance the Holy Kingdom of God. In order to do so, some of us, God willing, will be so-to-speak thrust out of our comfort (CBC, Vallejo, away from our families) to minister to every tribe, nation, and tongues.

The Santiagos is another glimpse of God's work and also the urgent need of workers in the field of lost souls. Wow, to be used by God - sinners like us, who deserve only the wrath and righteous judgement from a Holy God. Praise be to Him, who is worthy of all glory and praise. May God continue to send more out!!
