MIKE & BESS
Since becoming an school administrator, Mike has only 1 month (July) of summer vacation and to celebrate this brief period of time, we recently made our way to San Diego with our close friends Scott & Jenny Harris and their son Mason.
We spent the first 2 days in Santa Barbara - haven't been there since we helped the Tolentinos move after their wedding. What a nice place to live!!! Then we made our way to San Diego; next to Hawaii, SD would be our ideal hometown.
We visited La Jolla - great snorkeling spot at La Jolla Cove- water's relatively warm, Sea World - best whale school I've ever seen (go Shamu!!), and visited our most favorite Brazilian churrasco restaurant - Rei Do Gado. Here's the website: http://www.reidogado.net/ . The place is sooo ono (good) that we went there twice. It's an ALL-you-can-eat steak house. My personal favorite is the skirt steak...(Okay, now I'm hungry).
KEAOLANI GRACE
This is, by the way, Keaolani's second time in San Diego. Her first time she was 4 months and again at 8 months. Momentous occasion - her 2 bottom front teeth came out and she began eating cheerios for the first time on our trip. I've attached some pictures from our trip.
