Hibiscus Hale

God is good!  Yes, I say that a lot but I really can't say it enough.  As I sit here on the couch and look out to our backyard, I am so grateful for Him that He has provided us with a beautiful home - matter of fact, as I look back on all our homes, He has been so kind and gracious to give us what we needed.

Before we moved to Hawaii, both Mike and I wanted to simplify our life - with all the trials that God has allowed us to go thru, we've learned to simplify our lives.  And one area I really wanted to simplify was our home; coming from a 2400+ sq feet home in CA, I desired a much cozier home, or hale.  Mike and I took a trip mid-summer to Oahu to look for a home and after looking at more than a dozen homes, God lead us to a beautiful hale in the beautiful town of Makakilo overlooking the ocean.

And as an added blessing, in our backyard along our white picket fence (yes, we have a white picket fence, something I always thought charming in a house)  lay a row of beautiful giant yellow hibiscus.  So with that in mind, we've named our cozy little home Hibiscus Hale.  If you are ever on the island, please come visit us.  Aloha!
